Fanciful Cats is one of the latest pattern booklets to be added to the Form-A-Lines stitching card range. The booklet contains three patterns featuring a cat looking at a goldfish in a bowl, a cat chasing a butterfly and two cats sitting side by side. They are available as part of a kit or as a separate booklet.

Form-A-Lines stitching card kits and pattern booklets reviewed
Form-A-Lines stitching card kits are an excellent starting point for beginners in the craft of paper embroidery. They are also appreciated by those who do not have Internet access or the means to print downloadable patterns. However, for the benefit of our worldwide readership, I must state that the kits are only currently available in the British Isles and Australia.
If you are not in Britain or Australia, or if you do not want the kit, you can purchase the pattern booklets on their own and buy the materials locally.
Form-A-Lines Nautical and Oriental Flowers patterns reviewed
Two new pattern booklets have been added to the Form-A-Lines stitching cards range. They are: Oriental flowers featuring birds on a vine, a flowering vine and a bird in a thorn bush; Nautical featuring a lighthouse, a porthole and a captain’s hat above a wheel.
3D prick and stitch Christmas tree card
I made this card using the free Christmas tree pattern available from the Form-A-Lines web site. The cut out tree is hinged on the front panel of the card so that it gives a 3D effect when the card is displayed open.
I started by stitching the Christmas tree on a sheet of hammered white card.
Stitching cards in the Form-A-Lines forum gallery
My Form-A-Lines forum has a number of enthusiastic greetings card stitchers among its members. I can recommend a visit to the new cards section of the gallery this week as it contains several beautiful stitching cards.
“Strawberry” by Eileen Scott is a gorgeous combination of stitching, decoupage and cutting.
